Information and Security Control Mechanisms Embraced for Effective Information Management in Colleges of Education in Nigeria

The study determined the Information, communication and logical environment security control mechanisms embraced by administrative officers for effective information management in Colleges of Education (CCOEs) South-South Nigeria. descriptive survey research design. population was 1580 Administrative Officers.. 320 respondents using a proportional sampling technique used to determine number each COEs studied. instrument data collection structured questionnaire developed researcher. face-validated five experts. reliability tested Cronbach Alpha method yielded an overall coefficient 0.93. Mean Analysis Variance were analyze collected. findings showed that moderately identified logical, management. further no significant difference existed among opinions on level at which they environmental their institutions. it recommended others, Nigeria should enact implement policies laws support adoption mechanisms.
